My name is Genevieve (maybe) and I am a home-school mom living in the sunny San Diego area. I home-school our 4 kids. Welcome to my little guilty pleasure- a place unknown to my family and friends where I can be me (albeit incognito) without worrying about scandalizing the grandparents.
Being a home-school mom is tough sometimes, what I do is viewed as radical by many- I walk a line, sometimes feeling judged by those outside my world, and often struggling to not make parents on the other side feel judged simply because I, as homeschool-mom exist.
My life is not perfect. I am far from perfect. Here, I hope, I can just be me -flaws and all. Here, I can lose the badge of homeschool ambassador. I comfort myself that at least I won’t see my friends/family gossiping about me on FB because of what they read on the ole’ blawg.
Grab a coke, pull up a chair and I’ll dish…

Genevieve, homeschool mom who has found her secret place. Confession is supposed to be good for the soul. That, or just entertaining. Grab a drink, and I'll spill.
